Great little coffee shop! I had a coffee and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich that also came with a parfait. It's a quiet little place with seating for when it gets busy. Outdoor seating is available and there is parking behind the building that might be a bit of a tight squeeze for those with larger vehicles.
Well planned Coffee Shop. Very nice decor with a "sit and stay a while" atmosphere. Have been 3 times. Service better than expected for first 2 weeks open. Coffee organic and fresh. Multiple options for the non coffee drinker as well. Hope they do well. Area needed a good coffee shop.
Always greeted with a smile. Staff is great! A little addicted to the green tea frapps. I stop in most days. Beautiful job with the decor. Inviting place to hangout alone or with friends.
Great place! Old bank with lots of cool industrial touches, great service and food was yummy.
This is a great little coffee shop in a historic building with excellent pastries.
Beautiful building, coffee is okay not spectacular. Worth a visit. There's a reading nook in the old bank vault that is perfect for hanging around with a hot drink. The baked treats are good too.
Really neat historic location on the railroad tracks! Relaxing atmosphere and small town feel. Owner was super friendly! Great coffee, cinnamon rolls and scones😁
Anytime I drive south we must stop by. The Green Tea Matcha Latte is great!! I always get a 16 oz and regret not getting the 20 oz.
A very unique and creative setting. Great baristas. Yummy coffee and scones. Definitely a worthwhile stop!
It's a delightful place in an old bank building that is worth the trip if only for their delicious hot chocolate.
Good (healthy) food, good coffee. Friendly servers and beautiful space in a former bank. Much preferred to the greasier highway diners.
WONDERFUL coffee shop! We stumbled upon this delightful shop on our way north up the coast. We had the daily special and a Chai. Both were delicious🙌 My husband, the professional Chef (and 'backyard' critic, sigh and eye roll 😉) commented that he'd drive an hour back the next day to return ☺ If you find yourself in the area, it's a must stop. I'm only bummed we didn't have time to try the food
Stopped in here for a quick cup of coffee at about 2:20 on a Sunday. They ran out of coffee and only had enough for a 12 ounce cup.You read that right, a coffee shop ran out of coffee, and the best part is they would not make more because they closed at 3:00.Interesting interior though, old bank vault you can walk into. The other people in the group that ordered other things enjoyed them. This might be a good place to relax, work remote, or read a book, but don't rely on coffee availability.
Quaint little coffee shop with sandwiches and cakes/scones. Good pick-me-up.
Crossroads is a very friendly and inviting place to go to. The coffee is great and so are the food options. And you can have a slice of Becca's Smith Island cake for desert.
They serve some of the best coffee I've ever drank. Also make delicious breakfast meals. I bring someone new with me every time I come in.
Visited Crossroads Coffee Shop at the recommendation of the Post Office across the street. My husband and I went in to see their awesome book room in the old bank vault upstairs, browsed an exceptional book collection, and left with a delicious hazelnut latte. Sandwich selection was exceptional and today they were offering four different kinds of Smith Island Cake ❤️. Don’t miss this gem when you travel the Eastern Shore. Check hours as they are open for breakfast and lunch.
Black forest ham wrap and cream of crab soup and my lunch buddy had the shrimp wrap. This was our lunch break. Which was our 2nd stop of the day at Crossroads!!! Just introduced her to crossroads that day and she now loves it. To a to go of the cream of crab to our boss for his lunch and he was extremely thankful for it.
Beautiful place, awesome coffee, awesome staff, could not get any better!
Beautiful restored building make a wonderful atmosphere surpassed only by the food. Can't wait to try more menu items.
This place is a real gem. Stopped there to grab a quick cup of coffee an hour into a 4.5 hour trip. Ended up going back out and getting my laptop and spent almost 3 hours there getting some work done, chatting with the owners and eating lunch. Coffee was good and the shrimp salad I had for lunch was delicious. They really poured their hearts and souls into that old building and it really shows.
We stumbled upon this shop when driving from Virginia Beach to NYC. Located in a refurbished bank building and situated alongside historic railroad. Coffees we're good especially the matcha latte, the pastries were awesome and price was on point. The staff was hospitable.
Building is nice upgrade. Ordered a Latte. If you like hot water and milk, you'll love crossroads. Every time I ride by in the morning, no matter what the time, no one is there. Poured money down a rat hole to think a coffee shop can make it on the eastern shore. Should have taken your money and run. Will be closed by next year. Sorry
Great spot for coffee
Was travelling from Virginia Beach area, no coffee in sight. Luckily we found this Oasis. We were unable to get coffee aside from gas station or fast food "coffee". The decor in this place is amazing and clean. I wish I could adopt it as my "home" coffee shop. Everyone was friendly, would certainly not pass up this shop.
Way overpriced for simple things. I'm just talking about their coffee and bagels, i dont know what their food is like. Nearly $4 for a stinking bagel, and that was without cream cheese. Coffee isnt anything special (but I only ever order one kind of drink anyway). I'm not breaking my bank of a coffee and bagel at this place again.Okay, so we went back here again 9/15 2:30pm, because my husband likes their coffee and it's on the way home from our fishing spot. I asked for light foam and the drink came back mainly foam, so I asked if they would fill it to the top with coffee since there was about an inch of space from the foam. The barista said "no" and defended her barista "skills", while the man at check-out was persuading her to fill up my cup. Come on lady, it is some coffee that you're about to throw out in 30 minutes! Terrible customer service, so now she definitely lost both me and my husband. He even said he wouldnt be coming back.
This is a very clean, friendly coffee shoppe with a great variety of affordable coffee, tea and more. Sure beat the hell out of paying 8.85 for a 6 shot xlg latte at starsmucks.
We stopped on a whim while driving down Route 13 to the Outer Banks. My daughter and I collect coffee shop experiences and found this one as a quick web search "coffee shops near me." Because of the ruralness of the area our expectations were very low but we decided to stop there anyway. This place surpassed our wildest dreams. The environment is really cool - it's a beautiful place. We sat on the second floor overlooking the shop floor as wonderful sunlight came in through all the many old windows. The barista and other staff were incredibly nice and fun to talk with. The coffee was a very good. Additionally, we usually do not get food on our visits to coffee shops but we had to because it looked so good and it was delicious.
Great coffee shop and the historic place is always a pleasure to see.
Awesome place to go. Small town coffee shop with excellent coffee and cakes. The latte's are very good! Very good ambiance to the place as they decided to stick with the original buildings history of the bank, with all the documents and pictures. They do have live music also!
Great atmosphere, Friendly employees. Coffee was great. They even had a live musician playing. Will definitely return. Place has a good bit of history to it as well. Could be a new morning regular stop. 😀
Very unique place as it is in an historical building which used to be a bank. Banks back then were very elaborately built with lots of architectural detail and the owners of this little coffee shop have emphasized those beautiful details and old safes inside. The coffee is of good quality and I enjoyed my lavender and honey lattee. Brittney was such a delight and so patient and helpful as my husband and I were deciding what to eat. We each chose a panini sandwich and theybwere delicious! Such a treat!
Great cappuccino! Lovely spot. Great atmosphere. They have good coffee.
Fantastic coffee, and a very friendly and accommodating barista. Beautiful building. Would absolutely recommend.
I don't necessarily stop in often, but when I do it's definitely worth the price. Speaking of, prices are fair, coffee is nice, atmosphere is comfortable. It really is a good little out of the way coffee shop.
Relaxing and homey, really good service, kind and caring.
Really cute little coffee shop. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Resides in a former bank, the original vaults have been wonderfully repurposed. Check them out!
Beautiful restaurant. Top notch deli sandwiches. Can't tell you about the coffee because all coffee is gross.
This is my favorite place to go! Their food and drinks are amazing!! The staff is so nice and friendly. The owners are such wonderful people!! They did a fantastic job fixing this place up. If you are ever in the area, check them out. You will not be disappointed!
Breakfast sandwiches top notch. Latte amazing. Beautiful place. Must go if in the area or just passing through.
I had a wonderful Mocha at Crossroads, then took home a cinnamon roll and slice of carrot cake. Both were delicious. The atmosphere at the coffee shop is friendly and inviting. Our service was very good. We'll be traveling back to Onley often for a visit to Crossroads.
Beautiful ambiance, great food and coffee.
Chai latte is on point! Get the large. :)
Always great coffee and food!
Very nice renovation. Great ambience. Good coffee. Nice bakery selection. Recommend highly!
Great atmosphere, coffee and food. Prices are fair and service is good to excellent depending on who is working. With your breakfast sandwich you get a small to yogurt parfait, nice touch!
Me and my mom get the same thing every time! Always delicious!! We get the vanilla bean frappes with extra vanilla and if they have blueberry scones I get one they’re the best!!! Love this place so much!! Friendly employees as well.
Love their food! Cozy atmosphere. Attention to detail by servers.
Stopped in to this hidden gem on a random visit to my old hometown as it was suggested by Google. Pleasantly surprised. The staff were inviting, friendly, and very attentive. The fresh coffee and Chai Tea Latté were amazing. We ordered the Homemade Belgian Waffle and the Country Friend Steak & Gravy Biscuit. Delcious! Cute shaded outside seating to sit and enjoy the downtown outdoor charm and sip our drinks with the dog. Nice surprise to find out one of the owners was an old High School Alum!!! Nice addition to the community.
Nice atmosphere, great selection from drinks to snacks to lunch. Great gifts too.
